I was down in Carmel yesterday, and took a picture of some pretty flowers growing up a lattice on a buiding's wall.

The problem with it is the perspective caused keystoning, which is the name for the distortion effect that makes the building look smaller at the top. There's a pretty easy way to correct it with the cropping tool if you're using Photoshop. Note: if you're using Elements, you need to use the free transform tool.
First, use the crop tool to select the area you want in the edited picture. Before you make the crop, click on the box labeled "perspective", which I've circled in red. Then, click&drag each corner until the each of the sides of the crop area is parallel to the walls and roof line, as shown here.

Now you can crop, and Photoshop will spread out the picture into a rectangular shape.

Edit and sharpen, and the result looks pretty normal.
