Hi,

I read a lot about tele/scoping on the CP5700 and there is not much clear and because of the pricetag attached a lot of people are not willing to risk. My guess everyone is searching for the best one lens solution, because the CP5700 seems a bit breakable. However the setup used by Alex Chen (http://www.pbase.com/ac1976, check his camera and lens tests) looks great and isn't a one lens solution. Just keep in mind the CP5700 is fragile!

I asked a lot of photo stores to test different set-ups but they all think I am some stupid newbie that is asking the impossible. Yes, I am a newbie, but I know I have to support lenses that are heavier then the CP5700. The TCON14B and the Sony add-on lens are very heavy, but one store will test the TCON17 for the CP5700 when it is out. So maybe a task for all CP5700 owners: find a shop that is willing to co-operate and let us now if you found a suitable set-up for tele or scoping.

Sofar I only found two companies who are in to tele/scoping for the CP5700:

http://www.scopetronics.com/ - I miss examples so I any one is using it's products please post. I asked them to post examples yesterday, but didn't hear anything yet.

http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/digital/egnikon5700.htm - A lot of people are refering here, but I mis some examples from users.

And one who is testing at this moment and will get back on it soon:
http://www.lensadapter.com/ - Testing with the Walters 8x32 Monocular

I hope this information will help people who are just like me and want to have even greater tele then the CP5700 allready has.

If some of you have additional information or photo's using such equipment I would appreciate it if posted. I also would like to hear some people about the quality loss when using spottingscope .
