that was brought up in the 4500 Raw Mode discussion on my 5700. I had a bright pink hot pixel that was showing up in all pictures at all speeds without NR. The software said it found and mapped out 459 hot pixels which seemed a bit high to me but the one I was concerned about is definitely gone now. I took a few test shots after remapping and it looks like it worked just fine. No hot or dead pixels and I can't see any artifact in the pictures where the pixel was. Overall I'd say it worked beautifully. IMHO, YMMV, CYA, BYOB, Enter at your own risk, etc... Terry
