I am very interested in remote flash.

I am new to flash, and currently only own the SB-400 Nikon Speedlight to go with my Nikon D90 (though I plan to get more TTL-supporting flashes). I have seen Canon-shooting friends of mine use the PocketWizard flash controllers, but I understand that these are not available for Nikon equipment yet. So, I am looking at RadioPoppers.

Does anyone have any experience using RadioPoppers with the SB-400 Nikon Speedlight? Does it work? Any issues? Does it work with iTTL?

Does anyone know which specific RadioPoppers products I need to do the job? I understand that they make a few models and I want one that (i) will work with the SB-400 Nikon Speedlight and (ii) will also work with the better Nikon Speedlights I mean to get going forward. It is not so important to me that it work with "manual" (e.g., non iTTL) flashes.

Might it just be smarter for me to get the SB-600 (or SB-800, or SB-900), which have built-in wireless anyways? Am I better off selling the SB-400, taking the cash I was going to spend on a RadioPopper, and just upgrading the flash instead to get "official" Nikon off-camera flash?

Thoughts?
