Longtime Canon user that is making the switch. I used a 580ex with the AA Canon battery pack to help the flash recycle a lot faster. I see that Nikon has a similar battery pack for the SB-800 and the SB-900. I'm talking about the external pack that connects to the flash with a cord. Does it just supply extra power or does it actually help the flash recycle faster? -- Greg M 2004 Boston Red Sox World Series Champions Best of all was handing the Yankees the worst defeat in baseball history!
