I am planning to buy Nickon CoolPix L100. Can somebody help me out by telling me their experience with this?

I am new to photography and my requirements are simple I want to click day-2-day life photographs and sometimes somewhere in Jungles. So, I thought this will be good option but
I read some of the reviews and by and large, people suggest NOT TO BUY camera because of poor image quality, 4 AA size battery that too NON RECHARGABLE. blurring of image esp. at the end of lens.

I am really getting confused.
Please help.

Or sugesst me something which suits my requirement.
I want a digiCam with

more than 10x optical zoom

cost $200-250 approx.

real good pics and without image blurring even when in motion.
