Hi!
I've been reading the forums, but I haven't got a very good idea on what to decide for
I'm going to buy the nikon D3000, which is ok according to my budget
The problem is the lens
I can get the camera with the basic 18-55 VR lens for 420$, or I could get it with the 18-105 VR lens for 130 more (550$). (prices displayed in euros)
I really don't know if it's worth it to spend those 130$ more, to get that other lens, since I've been reading some reviews and stuff, and some people say that the 18-55 has better quality than the 18-105. I wouldn't mind spending 130$ more to get an improvement, but I wouldn't like to do it otherwise. I'm also a bit budget limited so, if i'm going to loose things but pay more money, that wouldn't be good =)
Some key aspects to consider :
1) i'm a beginner, this will be my first SLR camera
2) i'd like the best between price / quality and future usage. I mean, if i buy the 18-55 and then in the short-mid term (when i learn a bit about taking photos and stuff) i have to buy another 200$ or 250$ lens because that one is not enough, that wouldn't be very good. So, basically, if the 18-105 is good enough and is worth the extra money, i can stick with it for a while and spend the extra money now.
Any suggestions?? thanks a lot!!
