Nikon Transfer/Capture NX2

Hi

I'm running the latest versions of Transfer and Capture NX2 under Windows XP Pro (SP3).

NX2 runs happily when started after PC has been booted. If, however Transfer has previously been loaded in the same session, NX2 completely freezes the machine -- it opens the NX2 splash screen and then stops. The only way to get rid of it is to switch off the machine (ctrl-alt-del doesn't help).

It doesn't matter whether Transfer is still open or is closed before opening NX2 -- the PC still freezes.

Has anyone experienced similar behaviour and found a solution?
