Hi,

I am a reasonably happy NX2 user. I intentionally held off on upgrading from OS X 10.5.8 to Snow Leopard because of reported incompatibilities with Nikon software. I read several places that I "should" be OK as long as I didn't *install* NX2 (2.2.2) after upgrading to Snow Leopard, that is, as long as I had 2.2.2 working on 10.5.8, then I could just upgrade to Snow Leopard and I should have been OK. This has not been the case for me.

I encounter lots of unexpected NX2 crashes now, they seem to be most when using the Selection Brush to refine a selection. I don't know if my situation is unique, but in any case it's fair to say using NX2 is not a pleasant experience now.

I'm not blaming anyone but myself, I know I should have held out for an "official" update from Nikon.

However, I'm just wondering, are there any new and official words from Nikon to indicate if and when a Snow Leopard friendly NX2 is coming? Same for ViewNX (which is also busted with SL).

I do have a 10.5.8 backup I can go to, but I'd really rather not go that route. I'm just an amateur taking family photos, not a pro, so I can wait a little while if need be.
