Getting blacker skys is a fairly trivial matter. Make a darkening curves layer like this. Then just duplicate it until you get what you want. Then use the masks to fine-tune the location. Lightening curves layers can do the same thing for the clouds and the wall. S-curve layers can spice up the lawn. My monitor is very bright so I'm not sure what you will see below. But I left visible detail in every shadow.
