I ran across the method below that was posted in the Fuji SLR forum. Sorry I can't remember the name of the one who posted it in order to give credit. Some folks skip 1 and 2 and start at step 3 instead. Give it a try:

"I have been having great success with the following sharpening technique:

When I convert my files I convert with Sharpening off.

Then I do a three pass sharpening but with 6 steps

1. USM 200,.5,0
2. Edit->Fade UnsharpMask Set Mode to Luminosity and leave opacity at 100%
3. USM 150,.3,0
4. Edit->Fade UnsharpMask Set Mode to Luminosity and leave opacity at 100%
5. USM 100,.3,0
6. Edit->Fade UnsharpMask Set Mode to Luminosity and leave opacity at 100%

When printed this method (IMO) is incredible"
