desaturate levels, move left slider to about middle of histogram, big move. this darkens everything but sky, making next step more specific select>color range, select sky quickmask mode, paint black from bottom of picture up to where a little sky shows through (dont paint any sky) back to select mode save selection restore original picture with history brush over everything load prior selection delete button place previously created sky (i keep a few) under the lake effie layer so the sky shows through history brush on Darken ove tree-sky interfacer, from original history state, which restores some of the trees that were removed when delete was done cloned sky into water using lighten mode on new layer, then reduced layer opacity
