Something I shot Friday. Added some blur and texture

The texture that I used in the above image is one of my own creation. I was unhappy with most of the canvas textures that I have found. Including the one that came with Photoshop and so I created one of my own. I used my scanner to scan in a piece of muslim(not sure about the spelling) and I saved it as a photoshop file (.psd). To apply the texture, you go to filer>texture>texturizer>Using the drop down menu scroll down to Load Texture. Load the file that you just saved. I use the following settings: Scaling at 100% or less. Relief usually use around 10-20, however this may vary on your image and should used sparingly. One of the problems with most digital paintings is that they are overly texturized. When you use filters they always look best on higher resolution images and this is definitly the case when using textures. Light direction setting that I use the most is bottom right.
