Sparky,
Here are a bunch of "actions" for doing just this...
http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=42684#post42684 http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=44070#post44070 http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=46850#post46850
and here is how to run and use the actions..
I install them into my photoshop actions folder.... this..(from my computer) C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Photoshop Actions
Start photoshop. Go to the "window" menu and go down to the "actions" menu and open it....(it may already be open). It will open a "palette". It usually has Actions, History, and Tools Presets together. Click on the Actions tab...then go to the right and you will see a little triangle. Click on the triangle and a menu will appear....follow it all the way to the bottom and you should see my actions. Click on them and they will be "loaded" into the palette. Now open your future masterpiece photo. Go to the actions folder...and click the arrow next to "bud's frames"or whichever action you opened...it should then open and show a selection of frames. Pick one, any one....by highlighting it....then go down to the bottom of the palette and you will se some buttons one of them is titled play....press the play and set back....it should do the rest. You will need to hit the enter key or use the mouse every now and then. Once you've become comfortable with them, you can then modify or fool with them. I made them so that it would take very little intervention on your part. I assumed that alot of newbies would use these....which is good, we were all newbies at one time.
I hope this is helpful,
bud
