--I mentioned in my framing posts that my frame actions could be used incorporating a shaped selection to make star frames, heart frames, etc. Here are the steps for making a shaped selection:

Shaped Selections

1. Click on Shape Tool in tool box (left side of screen) and pick desired shape from option bar (top of screen)
2. Drag mouse to draw shape
3. go to Paths palette (if not showing, click Windows>Paths)
4. in palette, open drop down menu and click on Make Selection
5. To move and/or reform selection, go to SELECT>TRANSFORM
