For the original the sequence was a bit changed.
First i used Neat Image Pro to remove excessive noise and oversharpen image a bit. Neat Image's sharpening ability is good, because it "knows" where noise is, so it's sharpening, perhaps not perfect will not sharpen noise pixels. In PS7 i layered oversharpened image on top of non-sharpened and then adjusted opacity to achieve desired sharpening result. Then i duplicated sharpened layer, did high pass with value 2.3 on it. Changed layer blending mode to overlay and duplicated it 3 times. The result of this process was yet more sharpening added. All these 3 layers were moved to a set and then i've changed set's opacity to achieve more pleasing effect. High pass introduced more noise into the flat areas, so i had to run Neat Image on it again. Then i played with layers and curves to enhance image contrast and remove horroble yellow color cast. Finally i did a few touchups on a face skin to reduce yellowish tones.

Hope it helps!
