I first had a problem with this photo in nov. I have read everything since about blown out skies and this is what i have come up with. Works best if sky is all one colour.
dupicate layer,
select>colour. sample sky. Ignore other parts that are selected other than sky.In this case the skylight and guttering. In this photo i rendered clouds in our normal blue sky colour and offwhite. Deselect.
Now go to the history pallette and make sure the history brush is there.
use history brush and any brush from pallette and just brush away those selected areas which have now filled with clouds and shouldnt have.
thats it. these are the before and after and really didnt take 2 minutes (more like 10 weeks)
