here's some screenshots that i think will help you understand whats going on.

First, here are the settings in the Crop Options bar:

This screenshot shows how the crop will only be in a ratio that will fit exactly on a 4 x 6in paper. It doesn't matter what size you drag the crop, it will maintain a 4 x 6in ratio.

To get the full width of your image, you see that you'll have to either cut off the top or the bottom of the image (or a little of the top and a little of the bottom). Once you drag the crop to size you can then place your mouse inside the crop area and reposition it to your liking.

This last screenshot shows you what Tricia was talking about. If you want to include the whole image in a 4 x 6in print, you'll will have blank area's on each side of the print. (or one large area on either side)

NOTE: ALL of these screenshots would print 4 x 6. The only thing that is effected is the dpi. Don't worry about this, as long as you don't crop a lot of the picture out it should print ok on a 4 x 6.
