Couple of problems:
1- I don't know too well what I'm doing, I just happen to live in NY.
2- He works pretty fast using a tablet computer and although he was explaining as he went, I missed most of it, though he said he'll go over it again with me.
3- What I did get was that he almost exclusively uses basic tools, mostly dodging and burning. He does flip around channels alot, moving them around and applying them to layers.
4- He spends the most time just staring at the picture to figure out what needs to be done.

If I learn any more and retain it, I'll report back :-)
