Dave, C1 is designed to be in integral part of a color balanced workflow and the use of Photoshop is considered to be part of this workflow. C1 and PS are both fully color managed applications and if C1 is set up right, your images in PS will look exactly the same. Remember that Windows in itself is color stupid. It doesn't use profiles to view or manage images so you shouldn't waste your time on anything that comes with Windows. Being that you're shooting and processing RAW, you owe it to yourself to use PS. The color management settings in C1 should read like this: Camera product:Always your camera. Camera profile:If you don't have any custom profiles, use one of the generics for your camera. Output destination(Working space):This will be the same as your Photoshop working space. To take the best advantage of RAW, it should be Adobe RGB or Prophoto. Web destination:sRGB Monitor profile:Your monitor profile if you have one. You can try one from your monitor manufacturer as well. Now with the above set, on the C1 process tab, make sure that the Color management workflow dropdown lister is set to Convert to destination. In PS, make sure Preserve Embedded Profiles is selected in Color Settings:Color management policies. Use Adobe ACE, perceptual intent, Use Black Point Comp and turn off 8 bit dither. YOu should be set to go now.
