you should get a US version for around 1500 right now (correct me if i am wrong guys)
As for the intl versions or grey market product as they are called the worst part is that Oly will not give you any warranty and you are really only saving about 100 US for a grey market.
As for the local stores places like circuit city and best buy generally charge list price but you can sometimes get them to lower their prices if you show them competitive offers (doesnt work all the time though)
Order from one of the better known dealers on line where you know you get a US version and have the ability to return if nessecary.
This is worth the 100-200 dollars.
