Interested to know your standard Photo retouching steps in Photoshop CS.

Currently I do the following:

1. Levels - adjust appropriately
2. Boost the Saturation - tweak colour balance if needed.
3. Apply Unsharp mask:
Amount between 80% - 220%
Radius and Threshold about 3% depending on pic

Sometimes I play with Curves - the experts seem to think this is good...but for some reason I never seem to be happy with the results.

I also sometimes boost Contrast.

So what are your typical steps when retouching your photos?
Do you know any good action links that provide a nice walkthrough system?
Should i be doing something different?
