That addresses standard functionality. With my book, Elements CAN enable:

duotone
CMYK
Work around Multichannel and LAB
Curves
Color Balance
Channel Mixer
Calculations
Trim
Layer Masks
Advanced blending
Align Layers
Distribte Layers
work around Quick Mask
Guides
convert text to Shape
convert selection to shape
work around Channels palette

There are some things left off the listing there, like creating a clipping path (not the same as clipping layer), and snapshots, both of which can be duplicated with my book. If you see anything on that list that you think would be imperative, I would be glad to attempt to duplicate that functionality in Elements.

Some items are also incorrect: Batch processing does exist in Elements, it is limited, however...
