Have you tried using the PhotoShop Photocopy filter? Set the detail really high (23-25) and the darkness low (1-5). Using the Photocopy layer as the top layer, set the blending mode to overlay or screen or one of those (I don't have the time right now to check on which it is, but that will add really nice definition to your image if you have used a paint technique like Buzz or the Impressionist Filter to your image.)
