It is 220 feet high and, when it was built it was the longest such bridge in the world. It runs between Poughkeepsie & Highland. That is the Mid-Hudson bridge in the distance: http://www.jpmphotos.com/albums/userpics/10001/IMG_9685_for_Web.jpg It took about 17 years from start to finish including decision making and fund raising.
