I used my D700 with a Nikkor 20mm (20 year old) MF WA lens and made some handheld (long exposure) shots in this old industrial site.

Yesterday I was able to visit a more then 50 years old (still operational!) diesel-engine driven pumping station which was originally used to create the polder where I'm living. In operation since 1957.
The capacity of these pumps is 2 million litres of water per minute, 6 metres up.

Hoping to visit this place again when in full operation and at night (according to the people who work there it has a special atmosphere in the dark with all the lights on when operational)

This one is 'Gemaal Wortman' in Flevoland/Lelystad.
