Sure I am using Fuji S7000. with the +4 Hoya macro len. I am more of a portrait guy (still using film slr) but I just went to the green house and took these. I would say it is all in composition. There are a whole bunch of flowers may distract your eyes. Just look around the flowers first then pick some pattern that you like and try to take those. Example the first one I try to zoom in and take it at an angle.

Since I like pattern in straight like what I try to archieve would be. if two in horizontal or two in vertial I would try to take one in focus and the other is not just like Mirror. if three same thing the first one in focus the rest not if vertical. horizontal would be middle in focus and the other two not.

Another thing is use one of your hand to hold the flower the way you want and take it.

the important thing is look for some flowers in a forest of flowers that is hard. enjoying when you look at flowers would give you more of an idea of what you like

Hope it help I am still an amateur at this.
