Lately I asked myself the question whether stitching a couple of images can replace an UWA. I think the answer is "no", because expecially in dynamic scenes (such as a street) taking a couple of pics will take too much time, so things have moved. But in static scenes, it may be the cheap alternative, especially when you are photographing distant subjects.

Please prove me wrong.
