Hi all,
I have a D40, and I love it, but I have come to realize that I just don't need to carry a DSLR around to certain types of events, so I am looking to buy a small point and shoot that I can throw in my purse, or take places where it is not convenient to take my better camera.
Originally I had been looking for one with PASM controls, but it looks like nobody puts those in the smaller cameras anymore, so what are some good choices? Two I have come across that seem interesting are the Canon SD 1200 IS or the Canon SD 780 IS, but I am open to other suggestions, particularly cameras with some more control options if they exist. My budget is around $200 or less. Thanks!
