Hi All,

I have been using a Canon Digital Rebel XT for the past few years, and it's a decent camera. Lately I've been taking pictures of remote control car races, my main hobby, and have been finding the XT is good, but not quite as good as I would like for the job. I know a good portion of the problem is the lens, still using the stock 18-55mm, and I plan to upgrade that as well. But I am looking for something that is more capable with fast shots. A friend of mine took some pics with his 7D, and a 70-300mm (I think), and those pics are what I have been trying to get to, but a 7D is a little expensive for me, and is a little overkill for just a hobby. Does anyone out there hav any suggestions? I was looking at the T1i, but it looks like it's not much faster than the XT, the 50D isn't too bad for pricing, but in the reviews it looks like it might be faster, but it looks like it has some issues from the reviews. I prefer Canons but would be open to any suggestion if the price and features are right.
