Hello there....I am ready to upgrade my old digital point and shoot and would so much appreciate any help anyone can offer me. I have been enjoying my photography and have had a few successes on my old camera and its time to upgrade. Not ready for the SLR yet and really like to have a decent sized camera (pocket ones don't do it for me) so have decided on one of these two cameras, due to wide angle and zoom, but just cannot decide which is the best of the two. I have read 100's of reviews and just getting more confused. I was leaning towards the Canon SX1 which I initially was comparing with the Lumix FZ28, but just heard that they have just launched the Panasonic FZ35!! Overall it appears from reviews that the FZ35 has better picture quality than the Canon?? I am an enthusiastic amateur and not up with all the termonolgy and probably would not notice half the issues good and bad that I have read. However, the important thing to me is ease of use and good picture quality as I like to enlarge my photos reasonably big. I like the feel of a decent size camera that feels good and solid. The issue with the CCD v the CMOS sensor is also a concern. If anyone out there has experience with these two Cameras I would appreciate your feed back....Thanking you in anticipation.....
