I lost my Photoshop CS program (originally came with the computer) after a reformat, now looking for something to replace most of it's functions. I am far from a power user but I have become adept at curves, highlight/shadow, and started learning to use layers and HDR. I established a workflow from NX2 to CS that are producing very nice prints (with a profiled monitor).
My volume and matrix of needs don't justify purchasing another fully featured Photoshop program. My 2.0 version of *Elements* doesn't have curves. Are there any newer versions of elements that do? I've done my googling of different versions and haven't been able to determine if curves are part of their packages.
I want to keep NX2 in my workflow because it is producing amazing results especially with it's control point technology, so please don't suggest I switch to Lightroom.
Any suggestions for a replacement to CS...or insight to new versions of Elements after 2.0?
