Thanks for taking your time and looing at my thread. Im looking for a new digital camera either the Canon g11 or a Dslr. However, im not sure what would suit me best. I will be using the camera for scenery, action shots, and long exposure photography. Im also interested in being able to print my photos at sizes at or above 8" x 10". Lastly, im interested in taking my camera in the ocean to photograph surfers, waves, ect. One advantage of the G11 was the inexpensive underwater housing at around $200 rather than a dslr housing at $12000. Also has anyone had any experiences with Canon underwater housings? So essentially what features will i need to perform these tasks? What camera do you think will fit my needs now and allow me to grow? Also at a budged around $700.
