This evening I was trying to shoot the picture embedded below. Now, there are many things wrong with it :-) but I would like to know what causes the blur of the image. If you zoom in on the lights in the distance, you can see that they moved up and down vertically. I was wondering how to avoid this? I made the shutter release with a delay so I wouldn't touch it, and had firmly positioned the camera. Also, there was only a very slight breeze. So what is causing this and how can I avoid it?
