In calling Adorama today to see what kind of trade I'd get for my Digital Rebel XT I mentioned that I was looking to upgrade to the T1i since the price dropped the other day. He then told me they had some refurbished units that are factory refurbished by Canon for $529. That's $120 less than a new unit (body only). He said that because they are selling them so low Canon would not warrenty them, but they were giving a 5 year warrenty themselves. Now I know Adorama has been around a while. I've ordered from them before. I would expect them to be around for 5 years, but this seems a little strange to me. Has anyone purchased anything like this from them before?
