I have seen amazing pictures from both cameras on flickr.com which put me in more confusion as I dont know which one to choose.

I was wondering which one of them is user friendly. has good low light pictures and great colors. Which one of them is great for beginner who doesnt even know abc about digital camera or photography? I am looking one for landscapes, night cities scenes.

I would like to know why did you choose nikon d5000 or canon 500d?

I would like to hear positive and negative points of your own camera/s.

Please do not argue with each other :P Just talk about your own camera please.
