I'm beginning to save for my first SLR and am kind of stuck on which camera to buy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've just recently graduated and am working for the year. The plan is to take a one year photography course at a local college. From there, I'll most likely go into design.

I've worked with SLRs in the past so I do have a basic idea of how to use them and understand most there is to know, although I'm no expert. The thing is I was at a work meeting and learned about full-frame DSLRs...

My parents own a cabin in the rockies so most of what I will be shooting is wildlife and landscape. It's now come to my understanding that a crop factor on something like a Canon 7D or Nikon D90 would be useful for shooting wildlife...
But since they are not full frame sensors are they going to be useless when taking pictures of landscape?

I don't really know if a lens for a camera body with a crop factor of 1.6x is going to cost a load to get an actualy wide angle...

If anyone could suggest a good camera that would be ideal for both the subjects I would love to hear it. It seems I'm bouncing back and forth between the Canon 7D and the Nikon D90... But now that I've heard about the full frame SLRs I'm wondering if I should spend the extra money to get the nice wide angled landscape shots, or if that is going to screw me over for shooting wildlife.

Thanks :)
