Hi all! I am new to the forum and could really use some friendly advice. I run a Canon Digital Rebel, which takes absolutely beautiful pictures. However! I have a 2 year old daughter, who I obviously want to get great pictures of, and in great daylight I have no problems. But low light, and being that she doesn't sit still for more than half a second, makes taking pictures difficult without using a flash or dragging a tripod all over the house. We all know the pop-up flash bites, so I often resort to my P&S (pentax optio M40), with flash off for indoor/low-light so that I have the assistance of the anti-shake, but even keeping the ISO at 400 or lower, it creates huge amounts of b&w noise/grain that I can't get rid of in editing. So I am wondering where my money would be best spent, should I invest in a better flash for the DSLR, or would I be better off investing in an advanced P&S to have the anti-shake until she is a little older and slows down, LOL! If a better P&S, any suggestions on a specific model that creates less noise than others?
Thanks in advance for any help with this!
Nola =)
