I'm thinking about buying the Canon EOS Rebel T1i as a step up from my old Canon EOS 10D (6MP). I bought the EOS 10D from a friend along with a Tamron 18-200 XR Di II LD Aspherical (IF) lens. The specific field I'm interested in is macro photography. I've been using a PowerShot SD1100 IS for macro photography (pics here: http://bit.ly/CNgKO) because what I have (EOS 10D) isn't working well for my needs. I'm an amateur photographer and I don't need any camera over $1000, that's why I'm looking at the T1i. What are your suggested macro lenses? Should I just use extension tubes (I'm trying to keep the price down)?
