After looking at the S2 gallery recently posted, can someone please explain to me why this camera is worth almost $25,000 dollars (with the lens)? Most of photos were not taken in a challenging environment, to be sure. However, the only real challenging aspect were the lower light black and whites, and they are terribly grainy. In fact, there is not one photo there that could not be taken with a camera costing 1/15th the price. The only advantage I have seen is the large file size, but many would see that as a disadvantage. After seeing output from the Hasselblad H3 series medium format, I was blown away. I had to say "there is no way I could take that picture with my Nikon D3". When is Leica, or someone else, going to show us a photo that can not be taken by a less expensive camera? I went to their website with their "big outdoor shoot" in Cuba. Yes, the photos look good, but that's the lighting, and so far have not seen anything a Nikon or Canon couldn't handle. If anyone has access to an S2 and a Nikon D3 or Canon 1D Mark 3 or 4, I, and many others, would love to see some comparisons.
