As photographers, we should be aware of copyright and we shoudl defend it. One day we might find someone trying to take our work and make money with it.
John Unger makes art sculptures. He makes fire bowls that are ornate. When he found out that someone was knocking off his designs, he sent a desist letter. The manufacturer turned around and is sueing to take away Mr. Ungers copyright! If he can't defend himself in court, he loses.
Here is the whole story: http://www.johntunger.com/legal-defense-fund.html
Do you find this as wrong as I do? This can't be allowed. But if he doesn't have the money needed to fight it in court, even though it will be an easy win, he loses everything.
