"Taking photos of no apparent aesthetic value" can be counted as "pre-operational surveillance" or "counter-surveillance efforts" in Colorado, and many other states in the U.S.A.
Please see a chilling article by Bruce Finley at today's "Denver Post" (June 29):

Sunday edition of my daily paper is always overblown: there is over hundred of photographs in it. Most of them having information in mind, not "apparent aesthetic value".
In some spots of the "Denver Post" I contemplate "apparent aesthetic value" of photographs of the women exposing they breasts to sell the bras. There is no birth certificates attached to the photos.
Our dailies may be a safe heaven not only for terrorists, but also for pedophiles! So our static memory cards and hard drives.
Do you still feel secure having and operating a camera?
