According to Amateur Photographer, Leica CEO Steven K. Lee was fired http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk/news/Leica_Camera_sacks_CEO_Steven_K_Lee_news_182225.html Lee had earlier announced that the M8 will be upgraded to a full frame sensor by photokina 08. Apparently there is disagreement on this plan, "'This change of management allows Leica Camera AG to immediately review strategies and make changes where required.' Leica UK's David Bell tells AP. 'One of the first tasks for Dr Kaufmann will be to positively review all options for the M system's future. There will be more details in the following weeks.'" Does that mean no upgrade to full frame for Leica M8?
