In response to RG's test of the sub mirror fix -
Phil: Note this isn't the reason we haven't yet reviewed the Mark III, it has simply been shifted in our review queue due to higher priority (for our readership) models.
I love my Mark III, and I have enjoyed the reviews of the Mark III on many other web sites. At this point in time, soon one year after the announcement, I don't really need a Dpreview review of the 1D Mark III. A review is only interesting when the subject is new, and has been on the market for only a short time.
So why don't you review something new and different, rather than 6 months old cameras. Just wipe out your backlog and think fresh.

Alright Dpreview fanboys I now have my flamesuit on, so lets have it!
PS! Also, there is not an urgent requirement for reviews of the thousands of nearly identical shiny p&s digicams.
